Here's a great band. Circus Mind's leader, Mark Reckler, spent his formative years studying architecture and music at Tulane University in New Orleans. The funk stuck.

This track features vocals by NOLA legend Cyril Neville.

The band recorded the tracks in Mark's home studio on Long Island, NY. Mixing proved to be a bridge too far for them, so they called me in. Using what became Standard Operating Procedure, rather than commuting to all the way out to Long Island, I mixed the album at my place, exchanged mp3 mixes for evaluation, then mastered it all.
