Richard Rome

Richard Rome is a legend. Working out of Philadelphia, he was a busy arranger mining disco and R&B. He was the "Ritchie" in the "Ritchie Family" (Brazil!). He was also a successful jazz producer (Guitarist Gabor Szabo). I worked with him several times over the years recording a variety of Big Band dates.
But it was this very personal project of his that has emotionally stuck with me. It's Rich and his piano. Fingers, and ivory, wood and steel. The piece is by the French composer Frederico Mompou.
