The Nails were a great band. Drawing on ska and punk for inspiration, they melded upbeat, party rhythms with the dark lyrics and Morrison like vocals of Marc Campbell. Just prior to meeting them, they had modest success with "88 Lines About 44 Women".  As hard as we tried, we could never top that original 4 track, down & dirty recording. But we were successful with new recordings of new songs, like Cutting Edge.
