Tom Waits and Vin Scelsa

I had been at Mediasound for just over a year when THIS happened. Iconoclast radio host Vin Scelsa had booked me and Mediasound's Studio "C". The Control Room had an ancient tube console with big rotary knobs. The studio sported a not-so-in-great-shape upright piano. But it was all we needed to capture this wonderful interview/private concert of Tom Waits.
